CHECK YOUR STORE BEFORE YOU BUILD

Will WooApp work with my WooCommerce store?

WooApp fits stores selling simple and variable physical products with standard WooCommerce shipping. Check your extensions and order flow on a staging copy before you commit to a release.

Check the store and hosting requirements

WooApp 2.0.1 requires a single-site WordPress 7.1 or later installation, WooCommerce 11.2 or later, PHP 8.3 or later, and a valid HTTPS store URL. It supports both WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage and classic order storage. Use a staging copy to install the plugin and verify the store connection before making changes to production.

Check a real product from each part of your catalog

Pick one simple product and one variable product with real stock rules. Confirm that each appears in search and its category, that its price matches WooCommerce, and that an out-of-stock variation cannot be added to the cart. If your catalog relies on subscriptions, bundles, memberships or custom product types, plan an integration review for those products.

Review extensions that add required fields to the web checkout, change prices based on customer role or collect product personalization. The mobile app has its own screens, so a field added only to your website theme may need to be built into the app. Bring a concrete product and a sample order to that review.

Run the order flow on a staging store

  1. Place an order with an eligible delivery address and confirm that WooCommerce returns the expected shipping methods and tax.
  2. Apply a valid coupon and check that cart and order totals match WooCommerce.
  3. Check cash on delivery eligibility. For Stripe or PayPal, configure the dedicated WooApp credentials and test the native checkout and payment confirmation in sandbox mode.
  4. Check that the order appears in WooCommerce and the customer's app order history with the expected status.

WooApp uses one address for billing and delivery. Stores requiring distinct addresses or custom checkout fields should review that workflow before release. See the payment integration guide for gateway requirements.

Confirm the Android and iOS build requirements

The reference Flutter project targets Android devices running API 24 or later and iOS 14 or later. Your developer needs release signing for Android and macOS with Xcode for the iOS build. See the Android release steps and iOS release steps for the files and commands to prepare.
